Junior Charles (Charlie) Desjarlais

The family of Junior Charles (Charlie) Desjarlais mourn his passing on December 17, 2025, at the age of 49 years, in Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Charlie’s memory will be cherished by his brother: Darren (April) Boucher; sisters: Brenda (Kevin) Halter, Bonnie Duffield, Val Boucher, Shiela Desjarlais, Wanda Boucher, Tracy (Joe) Desjarlais, Lorraine Boucher; God daughters: Savannah Boucher, Lindsay Boucher; special niece: Rosemarie, Cassidy; 3rd mom: Colleen Pierce and family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles and friends.

He is going in to the arms of his parents: Lucy Desjarlais, Charlie Quinn; adoptive parents: Alvina & Robert Boucher; grandparents: Mouise Desjarlais, Louise Desjarlais, Melanie Desjarlais, Robert Quinn; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, family & friends.

He will be going home to the Lakeland Agricom, 13412 Hwy 881, Lac La Biche, Alberta, on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. (leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel, 133 Sentinel Drive, Lac La Biche, Alberta, at 3:00 p.m.)

Prayer service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.  at the Lakeland Agricom, 13412 Hwy 881, Lac La Biche, Alberta. Father Anselmo Landoy will be officiating.

He will be laid to rest at the Our Lady of the Snow, Owl River, Alberta, immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Randal Desjarlais, Richard Gladue, Kenny Gladue, Tony Laboucane, Cody Desjarlais, Troy Donofrio.

Honorary pallbearers: Russel Desjarlais, Denis Desjarlais, Ricky Laboucane, Kyle Boucher, as well as everyone who knew and loved Charlie.
