The family of Katie (Dowhaluk) Narabenchuk, sadly announces her passing on November 17, 2025, at the age of 94 years, in Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, are her children: Lillian (Arnold) Romaniuk, Jack (Catherine) Dowhaluk; daughter's-In-Law  : Shirley Dowhaluk, Sharon Dowhaluk: brother: Jim Puritch; sisters: Lillian Bezovie, Anne Mizier, Mary Evancusky; grandchildren: Jonathan, Jennifer, Tami, Jason, Natasha, Nolan, Brent, Crystal, Lesley, Robyn, Becky, Christopher, Terry, Lauren; great grandchildren: Nicholas, Amber, Michael, Ashley, Emily, Courtney, Jack Simon, Finn, Autumn, Emmy, Georgia, Liam, Hannah, Cale, Brady, Zara, Asha, Isla, Levi, 
Mya, Edan, Maiya, Nora, Joseph, Alex; great great grandchild: Henry Derek Johnson.

She was predeceased by: husband: George Dowhaluk; second husband: John Narabenchuk; sons: Greg, Bill; daughter: Sonia; grandsons: Jeffrey Romaniuk, Kevin Dowhaluk; foster grandchildren: Loretta Sinclair, David Sinclair; sister: Olga Burton; brother: George Puritch

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grassland Community Hall, 4802 50 St, Grassland, Alberta. 

Fr. Dr. Roman Shiyan will be officiating.
