Katryna Cherniwchan

With cherished memories for a life well lived, the family of Katryna Cherniwchan of Caslan, Alberta announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the age of 96 years.

Katryna is lovingly survived by her sons: Grant "Wayne" (Betty) Cherniwchan, Kenneth Cherniwchan; daughters-in-law: Barbara Cherniwchan, Linda Cherniwchan; grandchildren: Chrystal, Erin, Ashley, Allison, Dustin, Bradley, Chalene, Sandi, Evan; great grandchildren: Oliver, Naomi, Hudson, Nash, Gabriella, Michaela, Grant, Landon, Madison, Brody, Jackson, Chase, Hunter, Palmer; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Katryna was predeceased by her husband: Steve Cherniwchan; sons: Melvin Cherniwchan, Larry Cherniwchan; parents: Anna & Nikolai Wolansky; sisters: Mary, Lily, Nancy, Florence; brothers: John, Bill, Harry.

As per Katryna's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal funeral service will be held.
