Kayla Patricia Jade Bull

It is with great sorrow that the family of Kayla Patricia Jade Bull announce her unexpected passing on May 2, 2026 in Sherwood Park, Alberta at the young age of 21 years old.

Kayla was a young free spirit who aspired for greatness for all she knew. Kayla's Cree name is Thunderbird woman. Kayla is survived by her mother: Shannon Bull; step father: Simon Staddon; father: Herman Cardinal Jr.; grandmother: Sharon Bull;grandparents: Emile Cardinal, Leona Cardinal, Herman Cardinal Sr.; sisters: Tyrae Bull, Alyra Bull, Mya Bull, Kylen Bull, Taysia Bull, Sarah Frenchman, Harmony Piche; big sister: Marilyn Gladue; brother: Harley Frenchman; special aunty: Ivy Cardinal and family, Sarah Bull and family; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Kayla is going into the arms of her sister: Nicole Frenchman; auntie: Jessie Cardinal; uncles: Conrad Bull, Cody Gladue

Kayla will be going home to Beaver Lake Cree Nation on Tuesday May 19, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service, Thursday May 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Beaver Lake Community Hall in Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta

Final Resting Place will be at Beaver Lake Community cemetery in Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta.
