Ken Flaherty

On Friday, July 13th, 2018 Kenneth Alexander Flaherty of Lac La Biche, Alberta passed away at the Cross Cancer Institute, Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 67 years.

            Ken is survived by his wife Deby of 46 years. Children: Daniel (Shelly), Erin (Shaun). Grandchildren: Sydney, Liam, Max, Piper, Sam and Grace. Sister: Karen (Fred), Brother: Wray. Brothers-in-law Don (Carol) Brown, Robert Brown. Sister-in-law: Bonnie (Ken) Burgett. Nieces and Nephews: Kendra (Scott), Carol (Corey), Freddie (Lori), Jenna and Murray. Great Nieces and Nephews: Taylor, Cayne, Carter, Gage, Chase, Presley, Cash, Ruby, Bridgette, Cody and Hailey. Ken is also survived by the numerous friends and fellow musicians.

            Ken is preceded by his parents Daphne and Murray Flaherty, Grandparents Mildred and Fred Wray and Augusta and Jack Flaherty, Uncle Kenneth Flaherty and Father-in-law Buster Brown.

            A Celebration of Ken’s Life was held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Lac La Biche, AB with Pastor Emmanuel Chiwele officiating. Cremation has taken place.
