With broken hearts, the family of Larry Gordon Cardinal of Lac La Biche, Alberta is saddened to announce that the sun set for their beloved father, grandfather and brother on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 69 years.

Larry is lovingly survived by his children: Darcy Pechawis, Starr Dumais, Jordan Dumais; numerous treasured grandchildren; sister: Emilene Cardinal (Orville Anderson); brothers: Syles (Rowena) Cardinal, Russell (Fran) Cardinal, Andrew Cardinal; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Larry is going into the arms of his daughter: Shelly Pechawis; parents: Francis & Gertrude Cardinal; brothers: Willard Cardinal, Gilbert Cardinal, Robert Powder; sister: Virginia Cardinal; nephew: Hank Tremblay; nieces: Bonnie Barna, Rachel Cardinal, Evelyn Youngchief.

Funeral Service, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 p.m., Kikino Community Hall, Kikino Alberta with Father Anselmo Landoy officiating. Pallbearers: Justin Bruno, Aaron Gadwa, Avery Gadwa, Jaden Cardinal, Darcy Pechawis, Kenneth Cardinal. Honorary Pallbearers: all of Larry's friends from the shelter (Lac La Biche), Vincent Bruno, Kenny Laroque, David Cardinal, Big Show. Final Resting Place, Kikino Community Cemetery, Kikino, Alberta.
