Leo Victor Waine

It is with great sadness that the family of Leo Victor Waine announces his passing on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 93 years.

Leo will be lovingly remembered by his children: Sharon, Zillah (Lawrence), Tania (Brent), Melissa (Michael), Aaron (Patricia), Ian (Diane); his grandchildren: Brett, Vance, Jayleen, Elicia, Abigail (Cole), Travis (Ashley), Dallas (Sarah), Taylor, Bryson, Brayden, Julie (John), Nathan, Crystal (Dustin), Damian; great-grandchildren: Brynn, Kaylee, Tavis, Tristan, Kyra, Abe; his sister: Eileen; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Leo was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Bernidine; parents: Andrew & Rachel; brother: Roy Waine; son-in-law: Bill; granddaughter: April; brother-in-law: Andrew; nephew: Sandy.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Mission View Funeral Chapel, Lac La Biche, Alberta, with interment to follow at Fork Lake Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Brett, Damian, Travis, Nathan, Dallas, Dustin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
