Leonard Schaub Obituary

On January 22, 2026, the family of Leonard Schaub sadly said their goodbyes in his home, on the farm.

Leonard Schaub was a man deeply rooted in the land he loved. Farming was not just his livelihood—it was his calling, his passion, and his way of life. From the first light of morning to the quiet close of day, Leonard found purpose in working the soil, caring for his fields, and stewarding the land with patience, respect, and pride. He understood that the land gives back what you put into it, and he devoted his life to doing the work the right way.

That same respect for honest work carried into his love for carpentry. Leonard had a natural ability to build, repair, and create with his hands. Whether framing, fixing, or crafting something from scratch, he took pride in solid work meant to last. He believed in measuring twice, doing it right the first time, and leaving something better than he found it. Many of the things he built stand today as quiet reminders of his skill, care, and attention to detail.

Hard work defined Leonard, but it never hardened him. He believed in honest labor, perseverance, and responsibility—values he lived by every single day. He took pride in a job well done and found satisfaction not in shortcuts, but in effort, consistency, and commitment. Those who worked alongside him knew they were learning from a man who led by example, not by words alone.

Above all, Leonard cherished his family life. His love for his family was steady, unwavering, and deeply felt. He showed his care not through grand gestures, but through presence, reliability, and quiet acts of devotion. He was a pillar of strength—someone his family could always count on, in good times and in hard ones. His home, like his land, was built on dedication, love, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Leonard’s legacy lives on in the land he tended, the things he built, the work ethic he passed down, and the family who carries his values forward. He will be remembered as a man of integrity, resilience, and deep love—for his land, his work, and most importantly, his family. His life stands as a testament to the beauty of a life lived with purpose, humility, and heart.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
