Marlene White

With cherished memories, the family of Marlene (Helen) White announces her passing on December 30, 2025, at the age of 85 years in Lac La Biche, Alberta. 

Marlene will be lovingly remembered by her children: Todd (Val) White, Terry White, Margaret (Francis) Cardinal, Mae White, Alma Favel, Brenda (Darrell) Peterson, Hilda White, Jason (Cathy) White; special sister: Patsy Kootenay; sister-in-law: Judy White; as well as her wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, family & friends. 

She will be going into the arms of her husband: David White; parents: William & Emiliene White; siblings: Helen White, George White, Henry White, Leo White, Philip White, Gabe White, Leonard White, Roy White; grandsons: Buck, Brad, Kiki.

She will be going home on Thursday, January 1, 2026, to Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta (leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m.) for a two (2) day wake.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Kikino Community Centre, at the Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta. Father Anselmo Landoy will be officiating. 

Her final resting place will be at the Kikino Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. 

Pallbearers: Margaret Cardinal, Mae White, Alma Favel, Brenda Peterson, Hilda White, Rose White, Bonnie Kootenay, Candace White, Sherry Calliou, Todd White Jr., Grant White, Jason White, Austin Peterson, Cameron White, Lyndon (Spanky) Collins. 

Honorary Pallbearers: Todd, Terry, Kayla, Jennifer, Chrystal, Trina, Keirsten.
