Marty Ladouceur

With great sadness, the family of Marty Ladouceur wishes to announce his passing on April 18, 2026 at the age of 64 years in Buffalo Lake, Alberta.

Marty truly loved the land and the machines that move it. He was happiest in the cab of heavy equipment, possessing the rare skill to operate any machine with ease as he had been doing since his late teens. When he wasn’t working, he would spend his free time hunting, fishing, and exploring with his faithful pup Jeronimo. Marty’s legacy of hard work and his love for nature will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

His memory will be cherished by his children: Christopher Ladouceur, Rene Ladouceur; grandchildren: Lucas Morin, Violet Ladouceur; brothers: Glenn (Gloria) Ladouceur, Wayne Ladouceur; sisters: Mariette (Roger) Boucher, Sherry (Danny) Ladouceur.

Marty is going in to the arms of his parents: Fred & Evelyn Ladouceur; brother: Murry Brian Ladouceur; sister: Holly Ladouceur.

He will be going home on Friday April 24, 2026 to Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, Alberta (Buffalo Lake Recreation Centre) leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel at 11:00 am.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Buffalo Lake Recreation Centre at 11:00 am.

Father Jhack Diaz will be officiating.
