Maxine Franchuk

The family of Maxine Franchuk of Lac La Biche formerly of Wandering River are saddened to announce her passing on December 27, 2024 at the age of 90 years.

Maxine will be lovingly remembered by her son: Dale (Shelley), grandchildren; Kyanne, Alex (Richard), Megan (Matthew), & Taylor (Dylan), great-grandchildren; Honor, Chaeten, Renn, Emerson, Brooks, Drew, Lennon, Briar, sister-in-law; Alva (Nestor), brother-in-law Orville (Susan), as well as numerous nieces, and friends.

Maxine was predeceased by her husband: Mike Franchuk, infant daughter Michelle, parents; Harold & Alice Kinsmen, mother and father-in-law Mary & George Franchuk, sister & brother-in-law Joyce & Elmer Mychalak

 A Celebration of life will be held on Maxine’s Birthday May 30, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sir Winston Churchill Community Facility. The family would appreciate if attendees wear something green.

In lieu of flowers donations to the W. J. Cadzow Health Centre “Ladies Auxiliary” c/o Box 507 Lac La Biche, AB T0A 2C0 would be appreciated.
