Mereena Houle

Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Mereena Houle passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 73 years.

Mereena will be lovingly remembered by her children: Curtis Houle, Lynaya Houle, Ryan (Erin) Houle, Steven Callioux; grandchildren: Kam, Alyssa, Linden, Joseph, Skye, Lexi, Alexa, Brooke, Taylor, Nevaeh, Oakland, Patience, Lyric, Brielle; great grandchildren: Ailani, Brylen and two on the way; brothers: Leslie, Erwin “Chiboy”, Louie; sisters: Welma, Alma, Phyllis; as well numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mereena was predeceased by her husband: Clifford Houle; parents: Elmer Erasmus and Delphine (Ladouceur) Erasmus; sisters: Janet, Marilyn; brother: Duane.

Wake: Monday, August 28, 2023, Kikino Community Centre (leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel, Lac La Biche, Alberta at 12:00 p.m.)

Funeral Service: Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., Kikino Community Centre, Kikino, Alberta.

Pallbearers: Curtis Houle, Steven Callioux, Kam Houle, Ryan Houle, Joseph McDonald, Linden Houle.

Honorary Pallbearers: Kelly Thompson, Darlene Brereton, Calvin Lavallee, Susan Erasmus, Gary Cardinal, all her siblings and card playing buddies.
