Michael Torresan Obituary

Michael Archangelo Thomas Torresan passed away peacefully on July 18, 2021 at the age of 82.

Mike is survived by his wife: Delores; his children: Roxanne Davies of Edmonton, Shirley (Carl) Torresan-Chykerda of Slave Lake, Wendy (Darren) Brownlie of Athabasca, Corrine (Randy) Roberts of Spruce Grove, Michelle Torresan of Calgary, Dean (Carole) Torresan of Ardrossan; grandchildren: Carley Chykerda of Edmonton, Carson Chykerda of Slave Lake, Justin (Julia) Roberts of Spruce Grove, Shannon (Keegan) Galloway of Spruce Grove, Joshua Roberts of Spruce Grove, Mason (Katelin) Torresan of Edmonton, Brayden (Kendra) Torresan of Lac La Biche, Brooklyn (Dustin) Van Engelen of Bruderheim; sister: Victoria Jacobson of Nepean, Ontario; brothers-in-law: Morris Jacobson of Ontario, Ken Bristow of Edmonton; sister-in-law: Agnes Kaufman of Lac La Biche; great grandchildren: Lennon Torresan, Dalyn Van Engelen, Oaklyn Van Engelen, Gatlin Galloway, Briar Torresan; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and the many friends and neighbors who knew him as "Mikey" and various other fond aliases.

Mike is predeceased by his parents: Anthony & Mary Torresan; in laws: George & Albertine Gerard; brothers: Nicholas & Paul; sisters: Valentine & Mary; grandchildren: Baby Karsen, Dalin & Logan; niece: Anita; brother-in-law: Stan.

A Catholic Mass will be held on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 at 1:00 pm, St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Venice, Alberta with Father Aureus Manjares officiating. Cremation to follow.

Everyone is invited to join the family at the Hylo Community Hall for a luncheon and socializing following the funeral service.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at the Lacalta Lodge and the WIlliam J. Cadzow Hospital Acute Care ward for the care and love they gave Mike during his stay with them.
