Mira Amore Minerva Cardinal

With shattered hearts, the loving family of Shelby White and Travis Cardinal, announces the unexpected passing of Mira Amore Minerva Cardinal on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at just 2 months old, in Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Though her time here was far too short, Baby Mira touched many lives and brought immense joy to her parents: Travis Cardinal & Shelby White; big brother: Jeremy Cardinal; sisters: Athren Cardinal, Kira Cardinal; paternal grandmother: Gloria Jean Belcourt; maternal grandparents: Kris & Chrystal Bellerose; aunts & uncles: Jeanine (Blaine), Cody (Dionne), Fabian (Shacare), Marcella (Daniel), Tiana (Taylor), Haiydyn (Baboo); as well as numerous family members.  

Mira will be going in to the arms of her uncle: Jeremy Cardinal; cousins: Talia Cardinal, Kiki; Russell Belcourt, Harold Belcourt; Soomie & Kokum. 

A private family service will be held for Mira with her final resting place at Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta.
