Nicolas "Nico" Joubert

On Thursday, February 3, 2022 Nicolas “Nico” Lodewyk Joubert of Lac La Biche, Alberta passed away at the age of 81 years. Nico is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Cornelia Joubert; children: Cobus (Sonja) Joubert, Elna (Piet) Schoeman, Marika Birkill (Joubert); grandchildren: Anelia (Pano) Dalcos, Ricky Birkill, Nico Coetzer, Lara Birkill, Nadia Birkill; great grandson: Stefano Dalcos; step grandchildren: Adriaan, Ivan, Waldo; sister: Maryna Bakkes; sister-in-law: Bets Steenkamp; son-in-law: Richard Birkill; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Nico is predeceased by his mother: Hendrika Joubert: father; Jakobus Joubert; sister: Elsie Venter; brother: Marthinus Joubert; brothers-in-law: Greeff Bakkes, Jan Venter.

Celebration of Life, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., Evangelical Free Church, Lac La Biche, AB with Pastor Phil Hink officiating. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
