It is with great sadness that the family of Oretta Cardinal of Lac La Biche, Alberta announces her passing on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the age of 43 years.

Oretta is lovingly survived by her children: Adles (Halle) Cardinal, Bryson (Caroline) Cardinal; mother: Carolyn Huppie; brothers: Clayton Huppie, Sam Napesis, Lance Fritz, Cody Fritz; sisters: Alison Bowen, Gina Huppie, Monica Huppie, Sharon Napesis, Barb Napesis, Bonnie, Mandi Boucher, Jessie Boucher, Meggie, Alannah Boucher, Nadine, Baby Sharon; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Oretta was predeceased by her maternal grandparents: Joseph A Cardinal & Elmere Tremblay; paternal grandparents: Rita & Peter Deschambeau; father: Harold Deschambeau: cousins: Joe Gladu, Keith Whitford, Charmaine Cardinal; sisters: Shannon Napesis, Barb Napesis.
