With heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Paul Kuraitis on June 1, 2024 at the age of 86 surrounded by those he loves.
Paul was born on February 7, 1938 in Rodef, Alberta and was the oldest of six kids.
Paul will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 57 years: Elsie Kuraitis; children: Diane Kuraitis, Kevin (Lindsay) Kuraitis; granddaughters: Jordana (Nathan) Thomas, Avery Kuraitis, Taryn Kuraitis; great grandson: Hayes Thomas; brother: Joe (Linda) Kuraitis; brother-in-law: Doug (Judy) Pedersen; sister in law: Jeannie Kuraitis; and numerous family members and friends.
Paul was predeceased by his son: Mark Kuraitis; father: Joseph Kuraitis; mother; Maria Maslyk; step-father: William Maslyk; brothers: Tony Kuraitis, John Kuraitis; sisters: Olga Pedersen, Anne McKercher; father-in-law: Jerry Swain; and his best friend Ellis Henderson.
Celebration of Paul’s life will be Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, Lac La Biche, Alberta with Joe Kuraitis officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Pallbearers: Curtis Kuraitis, Mathew Lett, Nathan Thomas, Larry Henderson, Jordana Thomas, Avery Kuraitis, and Taryn Kuraitis.
