It is with profound sadness and fond memories in their hearts that the family of Rosalie Bourassa of Plamondon, Alberta announces her peaceful passing on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the age of 76 years.

Rosalie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years: Bernard Bourassa; children: Claudette (Corey) Madill, Richard (Donna) Bourassa, Claude (Theresa) Bourassa; grandchildren: Christopher (Kathryn Kershaw) Madill, Cyle (Orlagh McCrory) Madill, Caytlin (Jeremy) Hunka, Crista (Kevin) Walsh, Tanner Bourassa (Jordyn Cote), Sterling Bourassa (Hannah Aquino), Paige Bourassa (Jamie Connors), Christiaan Bourassa, Avery Bourassa; great grandchildren: Keelan Madill &Cohen Madill, Annalynn Madill & Cian Madill, Thor Hunka & Emarie Hunka, Hunter Walsh & Hayden Walsh; siblings: Mary-Rose (Elmer) North, Alphonse (Susan) Germain, Edward (Earla) Germain, Rosaire (Glenda) Germain, Gerald Germain, Cecile Germain; as well as numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was predeceased by her mother: Lucie Germain; father: Lucien Germain; sister: Marieanna Germain; mother in law: Louise Bourassa; father in law: Daniel Bourassa; sisters in law: Georgette Duperron, Evelyn Germain; brothers in law: Edward L’Heureux, Blackie Thatcher, Oscar Bourassa, Salvatore Giacobbo; nephew: Remi Bourassa; great-nephew: Dustin Hill.

Pallbearers: Christopher Madill, Cyle Madill, Tanner Bourassa, Sterling Bourassa, Christiaan Bourassa, Jeremy Hunka.

Honorary Pallbearers: Avery Bourassa, Paige Bourassa, Caytlin Hunka, Crista Walsh, Kevin Walsh, Kathryn Kershaw, Orlagh McCrory.

Friends and family are welcomed to attend a celebration of life that will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the family farm 16560 Township Road 680 in Plamondon, Alberta. Arrangements have been made to accommodate the allowed 200 people for this gathering.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Ave, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
