Rosalind Elizabeth Monias-Cardinal

It is with great sadness and heartfelt memories that the family of Rosalind Elizabeth Monias-Cardinal of Heart Lake, Alberta announces her passing on July 21, 2022 at the age of 59 years. 

Rosalind is lovingly survived by her spouse: Wilfred “Chicken” Cardinal; children: Curtis (Marie) Monias, Shawn (Bolenda) Monias, Waylon (Trudy) Monias, Garrett Monias, Merle Monias, Kenneth (Christina) Monias; grandchildren: Kendall, Amber, Carson, Jayda, Jaylin, Tuff, Jana, Javyn, Destiny, Tara, Evan, Savannah, Waylon Jr., Kailynn, Jursey, Isiah, Cherai, Jared, Marlee, Carter, Allysa, Tamara; great grandchildren: Ryder, Chevy, Weston, Aviana, Calian; brother: Mike Monias; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins aunts and uncles. 

Rosalind was predeceased by her parents: Daniel & Algina Monias; grandparents: Joe & Marie Louise Gregoire, Julian & Lillian Monias; siblings: Edna Monias, Morris Monias, Glen Monias; nephews: Kyle & Trevor Monias; special uncle: Eugene Monias; special friend: Teddy Ross. 

Wake: Monday, July 25, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Heart Lake Hall, Heart Lake, Alberta. 

Funeral Service: To be announced. 

Pallbearers: Merle Monias, Waylon Monias, Shawn Monias, Garrett Monias, Curtis Monias, Kenneth Monias, Jarrett Berard, Javey Mizinchuk. 

Honorary Pallbearers: Marie, Christina, Cindy, Gina, Pat, Leslie, Donna, Bertha, Amber, Patty, Loretta, Sheila, special friend Shelley Boucher, Lisa Monias, Venessa Monias and all of her family and friends who cared for her and supported the family. 

Final resting place: Our Lady of the Lourdes Cemetery, Heart Lake, Alberta.
