Sandra Rose (Chick) Gladue went into the loving arms of our Creator, calling her spirit name “Howling Wolf Woman” (mahikan kawiyoyowit iskwew) on November 24, 2025, at the age of 63 years, in Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Leaving to mourn is her husband: Rick Swan; children: Dustin Lewis (Crystal), Kane (Shanda) Gladue, Alyssa Halfe, Randall (Danielle) Halfe; grandchildren: Tamika (Grant), Addison, Ashlynn, Haidence, Thoren, Kaizlee, Bryden, Isaiah, Georgie, Zariyah; great grandchildren: Alarah, Seanna, Scarlett-Rose; brother: James; sisters: Myrtle (Leonard), Marilyn, Darlene (Shane), Elaine, Delores; sisters-in-law: Linda, Irene (Camille), Lorraine; aunts: Sarah, Francis; special family: Tammy, Clara, Doreen, Jessica, Madison, Loretta, Teresa; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents: Raymond Howse & Eva Gladue; sister: Patsy Hysell, Mary June Cardinal; brother: Al Lameman; daughter-in-law: Ieshia Cummings; niece & nephews: Raylene, Cody, Gordie, Winston, Austin.

Going home to Beaver Lake Cree Nation Monday, December 1, 2025, leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Beaver Lake Multiplex, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta.

Pallbearers: Jace Lewis, Cole Gladue, Porter Gladue, Kenny Gladue, Randy Whitford, Jonathon Whitford.

Sacred Firekeepers: Triton Gladue, Lucius Gladue.
