It is with overwhelming sadness, the family of Stephen Leonard Lemay announces his sudden passing at the age of 46 years on October 28, 2025, in Lac La Biche, Alberta.
Stephen was a hard-working man who grew up in Plamondon, Alberta, where he met his devoted wife, Jacinthe (Plamondon). They were married on December 1, 2001, and raised two beautiful daughters, Chloé and Anika. Stephen will be remembered for his handy woodworking and construction skills, as well as farming and being an outdoorsman.
His memory will be forever cherished by his wife: Jacinthe; daughters: Chloé, Anika; parents: Annette & Leonard Lemay; brothers: Richard (Jessica), Julian (Charmayne); nieces & nephews: Gabrielle, Jacob, Cole, Riley; father & mother-in-law: Eileen & Bernard Plamondon; brother-in-law: Thorne Plamondon; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Robert & Bertha Lemay; maternal grandparents: Willard & Maguerite Gauthier.
Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Plamondon Festival Centre, 9626 101 Ave, Plamondon, Alberta. Father Adrian Tumanda will be officiating.
