Velma Adeline Cadieux

It is with deep sadness and much love that the family of Velma Adeline Cadieux of Lac La Biche, Alberta announces her passing on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the age of 74 years.

Velma will be forever remembered by the father of her children: Emile Cadieux; children: Lorraine, Valerie, Donna, Darren; grandchildren: Corey, Kelly, Levi, Layne, Faith, Chad, Wyatt, Destiny, Darren Jr., Tristan, Austin, Jayce, Brayden, Tessa, Tammy, Hillaire, Ian, Felix; 14 great grandchildren; sisters: Shirley, Betty, Lynette, Delores, Brenda, Sandra "Sandy", Deany; brothers: Donald, Roland, Paul, Melton, Doug, Keith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Velma was predeceased by her mother: Emma Spence (2003); father: Gerald Benson (2016); father: Frank Spence (2018); common law husband; Wilbert Lanstrom (2012); grandson: Owen Cadieux (2016); brother: Herb (1991).

Pallbearers: Chad Cadieux, Kelly Jr. Joe, Levi Joe, Darren Jr., Layne Joe, Virgil Kotovich.

Honourary pallbearers: all of Velma’s grandchildren.
