Victoria Tremblay Obituary

Victoria Adeline Tremblay was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and woman of profound faith who peacefully passed away on April 12, 2026, in Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta, at the age of 73 years, leaving a legacy of love and culture.

51 years ago, while attending the Alberta Vocational College, she met her soulmate, Ron; the two were married for 44 years. A nurturing mother and a legendary Kokum and Chapan. Victoria took great pride in passing down her love for God, her strong Christian faith, teaching her grandchildren to sing gospel and the importance of life to love, respect and to forgive. Most importantly, to take everything in prayer and trust in God. Her career reflected her heart for service, as a Community Health Representative at the Public Health Centre, working as a family Liaison and Cree teacher at the Kikino School, as well as a Health Care Aid in the Long-Term Care department at the William J. Cadzow Healthcare Centre. Victoria found peace in her garden, where she grew vibrant flowers and harvested vegetables to can and share generously with friends. Above all, she was a woman of God whose voice carried her faith through the gospel songs she loved to sing.

Victoria was lovingly survived by her husband: Ron Sr. Tremblay; children: Gladys (Lance) Patenaude, Ron Jr. (Amanda) Tremblay; grandchildren: Kohl (Kelty) Littlechilds, Kirsten Littlechilds, Markus Tremblay, Jodin Tremblay, Kyston Tremblay, Rhyor Tremblay; great grandchild: Kona Callaghan; brother: Donald Cardinal; sisters: Betty Sparklingeyes, Mary (Lawerence) Whitford; Victoria will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

She will be going into the arms of her parents: Alex & Stella Cardinal; brothers: Collin, Francis, Louis, Raymond, Pat, Wesley, Clifford, Cory, baby Alexander; sisters: Annie, baby Rena; stepson: Aaron McGilvery.
