Virginia Deschambeau Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Virginia Deschambeau of Lac La Biche, Alberta announce her passing on January 25, 2023 at the age of 99 years.
Virginia will be forever remembered by her sons: Ernest Delano (Marylyn), Miles (Roxanne), Don (Lorna), Douglas; grandsons: Earl (Val) Bacon, Trevor Cardinal; sisters-in-law: Arema Laboucane, Lorraine Laboucane; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and friends.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents: George & Genevieve Laboucane; husband: Charles Deschambeau; sons: Marvin “Jumbo”, William, Dean; grandson: Jason “Deeds” Cardinal; granddaughters: Arlene Bacon, Nichole Gladue, Sarah Deschambeau; brothers: Sam, Peter, Ernest; sisters: Alvina, Annie.
Funeral service: Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 1:00pm at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Lac La Biche, Alberta.
Officiating: Father Lester Evangilista
Pallbearers: Miles Deschambeau, Justin Deschambeau, Don Deschambeau, Gerald Gladue, Chris Larocque, Waylon Jacknife.
Honorary pallbearers: All in attendance.
Final resting place: Willow Park Cemetery, Lac La Biche, Alberta.
