Walter Ronald Bourque

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Walter Ronald Bourque of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly raised in Lac La Biche, Alberta, announce his unexpected passing on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the age of 71 years.

Walter is lovingly survived by his ex-spouse of 45 years: Ida Joan Cardinal; children: Jason, Kendra & Randall; grandchildren: Mackenzie, Isabella, Maryann, Trayceon & Zyeon; nieces: Darlene Half & Mona Bourque Bearskin; nephews: Alvina, Kevin, Phillipe, Claude, Adair & Peggy; as well as numerous friends.

Walter was predeceased by his fathers: Felix Boucher (biological) and raised by: Oliver Bourque; mothers: Annie Bearskin (biological) and raised by: Marieanne Bearskin; brothers: Gilbert Half, Allan Spence, Freddy Bearskin; sisters: Elma Bourque Bearskin, Sarah Bourque Bearskin, Rose Tremblay, Velma Flora Bearskin.

Funeral Service: Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., Beaver Lake Community Hall, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta.

Pallbearers: Ricky Boucher, Raymond Bourque, Riley Bourque, Phillipe Bourque, Jason Daniels, Terrance Cardinal.

Honourary Pallbearer: best friend: Abraham Lamberte.

Final resting place, Beaver Lake Community Cemetery, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta.

Luncheon to follow at Beaver Lake Community Hall.
