Walter "Wally" Tichonuk

It is with heartfelt memories that the family of Walter “Wally” Tichonuk announce his sudden passing on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the age of 60 years.

Walter is survived by loving wife: Michelle Tichonuk, daughter: Ashlee Tichonuk, stepdaughters: Cassandra Tremblay, Samantha Tremblay; granddaughter: Morgan “Peanut” Tremblay; mother: Evelyn Tichonuk; brother: Terry (Colleen) Tichonuk; sisters: Kathy (Jim) Sawitsky, Janice Bryks; nephews: Ethan Bryks, Mathew Sawitsky, Evan Tichonuk; nieces: Brittany Bryks, Haley Tichonuk; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Walter was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Ignat “Mike” & Mary Tichonuk; maternal grandparents: Fred & Katie Poholski; father: Walter Tichonuk Sr.; son: Morgan Riley Tichonuk.

A funeral service, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:00pm at the Evangelical Free Church, Lac La Biche, Alberta. With Pastor Emmanuel Chiwele officiating.  

Pallbearers: Ethan Bryks, Dean Loziak, Marcel Lucier, Edward Wanke, Anthony Bullock, Raymond Nidish.

Final resting place, Hylo Cemetery, Hylo, Alberta.

Reception to follow interment at the Hylo Community Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that monetary donations be given to Mission View Funeral Chapel towards the cost of the funeral.
