On Sunday, February 12, 2017 Mary (Maria) Uganecz of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 96 years. Mary is survived by her children Eugene (Marie) Uganecz, Donna Lamarre, Sharon (Joe) Gloux, Darlene Uganecz, Miles Uganecz (Shauna Hannin), Gordon (Lorelei) Uganecz, 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, special mention Bob (Marlene) Shukaliak, Johnny O'Hara, Bob Lamarre, sisters Pearl Shukaliak, Cassie Kane, half brother Orest Petrowsky, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mary is predeceased by her husband David  Uganecz, mother Helen Gordey, father John Gordey, granddaughter Marissa Uganecz, brother Bill Gordey.

Prayer Services were held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Mission View Funeral Chapel in Lac La Biche with The Very Rev. Michael Domaradz as Celebrant.

Funeral Services were held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Lac La Biche with The Very Rev. Michael Domaradz as Celebrant and interment followed in the Hylo Community Cemetery.

Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Alberta or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta would be appreciated.

Pallbearers were Ethan Fredrickson, Kristal Lamarre, Bradley Uganecz, Darren Uganecz, David Uganecz, Travis Uganecz.
