I worked with Ralph at Imperial Oil's Cold Lake Project in 1972-74. In those days I didn't drive, and he provided transportation for me to and from the remote site every day. He always had a new joke to tell me, and as I was new to the oil industry, he helped me to learn the unfamiliar terms and procedures so I could do my job better. His name unexpectedly popped into my head the other day, and then yesterday I read of his passing. Rest in peace, old friend. To the family: I pray that your good memories will comfort you now and always.

Hi Bonnie,
Thanks so much for you kind words. Dad taught me a great deal about the plant on Saturdays when he would take my brother and I to Ethel Lake. This helped me in being the successful candidate for a job at Suncor.

One of Dad's greatest joy's was playing cribbage. I would get the run down of his winnings (or if he didn't win he would tell me it was a good time). We were fortunate to have a family gathering on December 22 and Dad had a wonderful time and won at the casino. Thank you so much for you kind words.
