On Friday, January 13, 2017 Robert Nowak of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 69 years. Robert is survived by his daughter Nicole Nowak of Lac La Biche and Darryl Tait, son John (Arthi) Nowak of Lac La Biche, grandchildren Kayleigh and Kaden Nowak, Axel and Ignacy Nowak, mother of his children Patricia Nowak of Lac La Biche, brother Lawrence (Irene) Nowak of Edmonton, sisters Shirley Lannon of Edmonton, Sandra (Henri) Parent of Goodridge, foster children Chyanne, Heather, Dallas, Dreydan, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Robert is predeceased by his parents Paul and Margaret Nowak.

Prayer Services were held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Mission View Funeral Chapel in Lac La Biche with Fr. Trini Pinca officiating.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Lac La Biche with Fr. Trini Pinca officiating and interment  followed in the Willow Park Cemetery Lac La Biche.

Honourary Pallbearers were Alex Broadbent.

Pallbearers were Charles Henderson, Russell Langston, Mitchell Nowak, Richard Olson, Darryl Tait, Darin Tillapaugh, Gerald Tillapaugh.
