As communities around the world are struggling with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we
wanted to reassure you that the health and safety of our client families, employees and
anyone entering into our funeral home is our first priority. We, at Mission View Funeral Chapel, will continue to serve you in our best way possible within the restrictions of our Government and Association guidelines.
We will continue to welcome anyone into our facility, this includes making funeral
arrangements (1-2 people). However, if you have been out of the country or do not feel well
we ask that you refrain from coming in and call us instead. We will make every effort to
accommodate your needs by phone and/or email.
Following Alberta's newly implemented public health orders we will refrain from a
gathering of more than 50 people or 1/3 occupant capacity of the chosen venue (this is subject to change). As to respect the grieving needs of our client families, we will continue to encourage funerals for close family members and invited guests and/or a visitation which can also be held within this limit. Another option would be to have different visitation times for different
people with this capacity restriction. We will also continue to welcome the option to hold
the service at a later date when the current pandemic subsides.
Showing your compassion to a family member or friend is even more important than
before. Therefore , as always, you are more than welcome to express your sympathy online
through our website, Facebook page or email.
Through this difficult time we want to thank you in advance for your understanding and
especially to the front-line healthcare workers who are working tirelessly on this effort.
If you have any questions or concerns please call us.

Thanks for all the preperation and funeral servie for our Mom, grandmother and great grandmother. A lot of comments on the releasing of the balloons-grown up and kids all thought it was a great idea & everyone seemed to have their own thoughts about why the balloons all went up together towards the heaven. "It seemed like all the prayers said around the gravesite went up to heaven together"
