On Wednesday, July 8, 2015 Alex Kononchuk of Grassland, AB passed away at the age of 75 years. Alexander is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years Emily Kononchuk, children Mark (Laurie) Kononchuk, Marvin (Oriana) Kononchuk, Stacey (Terry) Tymo, grandchildren Austin, Justine, Harley and Hayden Kononchuk, Tristan Tymo, Payton and Tyson Tymo, sisters Olga Dakin, Jenny Mckenzie, Diana (Paul) Ponich, Elsie (Fred) Bernard, Sylvia (Eugene) Bodnar, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Alex is predeceased by his parents John and Justina Kononchuk, brother John Kononchuk, sister Mary Kononchuk, brothers in law Oscar Dakin and Don Mckenzie.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Grassland Community Hall in Grassland with The Very Rev. Michael Domaradz as Celebrant and interment followed in the Grassland Community Cemetery Grassland, AB
