I was stunned In the middle of June to find out that Alex was terminally ill and just found out yesterday that he had since passed away. I have fond memories of Alex in high school and how much fun he was. My deepest condolences to his wife and family, and his sister Diane.

Dear Emily and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Alex. He was such a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. I will never forget your family welcoming into your home when I taught in Grassland. I was always entertained by Alex's stories and he took such delight in bringing laughter and joy to those around him. He was such a good man and his legacy is his wonderful family. I was so saddened by this news. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.
