Our deepest sympathy to all.  Joan truly was a wonderful person with strength, courage and a level of optimism that was nothing less than inspirational. She never complained and always had a smile and a hello for everyone. Truly feel blessed to have had the privilege to have known Joan. Very few people have the ability to have such a profound and positive affect on others as she did. God Bless.

Christine, Harold, George, Robert, Gordie and all of your spouses and children. My deepest Sympathy to all. The years of joy I had with your mom, I Thank you all for sharing her with me. Her famous cookies warm out of the oven (we ate them faster than she could put them in her cookie jar) and her Christmas cake. All the card playing and singing. I understand all what she went through and what you are going through now. Time will heal, please remember always how much she loved everyone of you oh so dearly. I have so many wonderful memories from when I was a kid and being at the L'Heureux farm. From Joan having the cutest little runt piglet in the house that we could play with like a kitten, Steven working with Robert on the farm, ski-dooing, feeding the pigs, having coffee, so many great memories. May you rest in peace. xoxo
