On Monday, May 1, 2017 Joseph Chwedoruk of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 83 years. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Sophie Chwedoruk of Lac La Biche, children Brian Chwedoruk of Lac La Biche, Sandra Chwedoruk of Edmonton, Cindy McCormick of Edmonton, Barry (Tracy) Chwedoruk of Lac La Biche, Shelly (Marc) Doucet of Lac La Biche, grandchildren Brittany, Janessa, Blake, Brayden, Regan, Clay, Madison, and Wade, sisters Olga Corse of Edmonton, Mary (Paul) Wowk of Lac La Biche, sisters in law Mary Shipka of Lac La Biche, Rose Wowk of Edmonton, Anne (Mike) Nowicki of Lac La Biche, Victoria (Henry) Pohranychny of Edmonton, brothesr in law Bill Palamaruk of Lac La Biche, William Paskar of Lac La Biche, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Joe is predeceased by parents Antoni and Michalina Chwedoruk, Brother Walter Chwedoruk, sisters Helen Palamaruk and Annie Wasylciw, son-in-law David McCormick and daughter-in-law Linda Chwedoruk, sisters in law Jennie (Walter) Korethoski, Nina Chwedoruk, brothers in law Don Corse, Nick Wasylciw, Peter Shipka, John Wowk, John Paskar, mother and father in law Stefan and Anastasia Paskar.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche with The Very Rev. Michael Domaradz as Celebrant and interment followed in the St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery Craigend

Pallbearers were Blake Chwedoruk, Brayden Chwedoruk, Madison Chwedoruk, Regan Chwedoruk, Clay Doucet, Wade Doucet, Brittany McCormick, Janessa McCormick.
