On Saturday, August 29, 2015 Louis R. Cardinal of Kikino, AB passed away at the age of 81 years. Louis is survived by his children Bruce Cardinal of Kikino, Carolyn (Dave) Gordon of Calgary, Robert (Gloria) Cardinal of Kikino, Sandy (Mary) Cardinal of Kikino, Debbie (Alvin) McKay of Camrose, Verona (Cal) Thomas of Willingdon, Loretta (Sheldon) Whitford of Kikino, Brett (Jessica) Cardinal of Kikino, 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brothers Wesley Cardinal of Kikino, Donald (Viann) Cardinal of Kikino, Clifford (Helen) Cardinal of Kikino, sisters Betty Sparklingeyes of Goodfish Lake, Annie (Joe) Howse of Kikino, Victoria (Ron) Tremblay of Kikino, Mary (Lawrence) Whitford of Kikino. Louis is predeceased by his  wife Violet  Cardinal, Carl Cardinal, Lonnie Cardinal, Ronnie Favel, parents  Stella & Alex Cardinal, brothers Francis Cardinal, Raymond Cardinal, Pat Cardinal, Colin Shirt.

Prayer Services were held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Mission View Funeral Chapel in Lac La Biche.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Kikino Community Centre in Kikino with Rev. Bill Jackson officiating and interment followed in the Kikino Community Cemetery Kikino

Pallbearers were Brett Cardinal, Carl Cardinal, James Cardinal, Chris Gordon, Brendan White, Shawn White, Christine Whitford, Kennedy Whitford.
